When I turn my computer
on I get a message that Operating System cannot be found.
|
| A14 : |
Your unit not booting
correctly.
This error indicates a problem with Windows and Windows will need
to be reinstalled.
You should have received a CD with your unit that is labeled Recovery
CD.
Put that CD in your CD-ROM and restart the unit with the CD in the
drive.
When you see the Fujitsu logo, press the F2 button and this will
take you into the BIOS. In there go to the Boot menu and go down
to Boot Device Priority and press Enter.
In there you want to set the CD-ROM as the first device in the list.
Once that is done, press F10 to Save and Exit.
Now the unit will boot up into the Recovery CD and allow you to recover
the unit back to the way it came from the factory.

Sometimes, when
my Laptop boots or resumes from hibernate/suspend, the keyboard
and integrated mouse do not function. I have to send the computer
back into suspend/hibernate or shut it down completely to get
the mouse/keyboard to function.
|
| A15 : |
There could be a program
running in the background of windows that may be interfering with
the functionality of your suspend mode. What I would like you to
do is disable some of these program using a utility called MSconfig.
I will list the steps on how to run this utility below.
1. Click on start
2. Click on run
3. Type in 'MSconfig'
4. On the new window that opens click on the tab labeled 'Startup'
5. Now you should be able to see a list of program with checkmark
boxes beside them. At the bottom of the window you should be able
to see a disable all button. Click on this button.
6. Click on apply then close. Once you have reset the system, it
will ask you to reset one more time.
After you have gone back into windows after restarting twice try
going back into suspend mode.
