Q1 : Where can I buy AMILO?

A1 : AMILO is sold by Fujitsu-Siemens Computers only in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. For further information, please visit here and contact your country's contact person.


Q2 : There are 3 dead pixels on my LCD screen. How can I get it replaced?

A2 : Dead pixels are a characteristic of LCD screens and should not be interpreted as a defect. As stated clearly in the warranty card, the minimum number of dead pixels allowed is seven.


Q3 : How can I put my PC to Hibernate mode?

A3 : To enable the hibernation feature, click on Start, select Settings, then select Control Panel. From the Control Panel, select Power Options, and then the Hibernation Tab. The "Enable hibernation support" check box must be checked to use that function.
To use the hibernation feature, click on Start, select Settings, then select Control Panel. From the Control Panel, select Power Options, click on Advanced tab, and then select Hibernate from the pull down menu for Power buttons.


Q4 : I forgot the BIOS password. How can I remove it?

A4 : Due to the high level of security on the PC, the removal of passwords can only be performed in an authorized Fujitsu Siemens Service Center. There is a charge for this service. Please contact your company of sales.

Q6 : I am facing some problems with my Fujitsu Siemens Liteline notebook. How can I receive repair service here in India.

A6 : The Liteline series were not sold with International Limited Warranty and were sold only by Fujitsu Siemens Computers, this means that it is unlikely that there is anyone local to you that can repair that machine.You will probably have to ship the machine back to the place of purchase to get any support.
