  • Notes on FMWORLD product information page

    • Photos of products and what’s pictured on screens used on the FMWORLD product information page are of those under development.     • The disk capacity on the FMWORLD product information page is generally converted to 1 MB = 10,002 bytes, 1 GB = 10,003 bytes, and 1 TB = 10,004 bytes. Please note that the actual capacity will be smaller even if the capacity is equivalent to 1 MB = 10,242 bytes, 1 GB = 10,243 bytes, and 1 TB = 10,244 bytes.
    • Pre-installed and attached software are subject to change without notice. Also, some functions may be restricted accordingly.
    • Pre-installed and attached software may be partially different from commercially available packaged products, including accessories and manuals. Some generalized words may be used for descriptions in manuals.
    • Some pre-installed and attached software substitute the manual by the software’s help feature.
    • Depending on the region, there may be a shortage of stock for some products listed on the FMWORLD product information page or may be out of stock. Please check with your dealer before purchasing.

  • Product notes

    • Before using this product, you must agree to the terms of use and the warranty for the included software.
    • Countries where Cortana is available are limited. In addition, specifications may slightly vary depending on the device you are using.
    • Some Windows 10 functions may require additional hardware. Since the disk capacity is also used for the Windows operating system and Windows update, the actual capacity available to customers is reduced. For details, see the Microsoft website.
    • You must connect to the Internet to obtain a Microsoft account for Windows 10.
    • The stored contents of your PC/tablet may be lost or become unusable due to misoperation or malfunction. However, please be aware that we are not responsible for any damage caused by this except for the warranty service specified on the warranty card. We recommend that you backup important data frequently.
    • Installed contents are not guaranteed when repairing the internal hard disk. Please note that you will need to reinstall it yourself.
    • Depending on the manufacturing process, the LCD may result in different colors. Also, due to the characteristics of the LCD, some color unevenness may occur due to temperature changes.
    • When placing this product on a flat surface, make sure that it is level and wider than the base of the product, and can withstand the weight of the product. If placed on a surface smaller than the base of this product, there is a risk of it falling off.
    • Do not use this product for an extended period of time while it is in direct contact with your skin, such as on your lap. The bottom of the computer may get hot and cause low-temperature burns.
    • Be careful of condensation on the PC/tablet regardless of whether it is running or not. Using a PC/tablet with condensation may cause malfunction.
    • The LCD panel is made with extremely high precision technology, but there may be pixels that do not light up or pixels that light up constantly on a portion of the screen. Please note that these are due to the characteristics of the LCD panel and are not a malfunction. (Effective pixel ratio is 99.99% or more. The effective pixel ratio indicates the pixels that can be displayed out of the total number of pixels.) Exchanges and returns are not accepted.
    • Includes life-limited parts (LCD, Blu-ray Disc/DVD/CD drive, HDD, SSD, etc.). The estimated replacement time for a life-limited part varies depending on the frequency of use and usage environment, but it 5 years when used 8 hours per day.
    • Not designed for continuous use of 24 hours or more.
    • Lithium ion batteries are expendable items.
    • Two-year warranty period.
    • Support is available only in the country/region where the product is sold.
    • For Windows 10 supported models, repair work using USB memory may occur.
    • Depending on the software, peripheral devices may be required in addition to the main unit.
    • To use this product comfortably, we recommend a broadband line when using the Internet.
    • Please note, when using peripheral devices listed on the FMWORLD product information page, driver and software upgrades may be required.

  • 64-bit OS notes

    • The driver must be compatible with the 64-bit version. Does not work in 32-bit compatibility mode.
    • Software that does not support the 64-bit version operates in 32-bit compatibility mode. However, some may not work.
    • Software for 16-bit version will not work on 64-bit OS.
    • 64-bit OS software and drivers are required for the 64-bit OS to perform properly.

  • Wireless LAN / BluetoothR compatible product notes

    • The 5.2/5.3 GHz frequency band can only be used indoors. It cannot be used outdoors (unless permitted by law). The 2.4 GHz frequency band is used by not only industrial, scientific and medical equipment such as microwave ovens, but also other wireless LAN systems and on-site radio stations for mobile object identification that require a license for use in factory production lines, etc.as well as specified low-power radio stations and amateur radio stations that do not require a license (hereinafter referred to as “other radio stations”).
    • Before using this product, make sure there are no medical institutions or factories nearby.
    • In the unlikely event that radio wave interference occurs between this product and other radio stations, change the channel, or location, or turn off the power immediately.
    • Wireless equipment that uses the 2.4 GHz wireless LAN uses the entire band while avoiding the mobile identification device’s band. The DS-SS and OFDM systems are used for modulation. The interference distance is 40 m.
    • BluetoothR compatible products are wireless equipment that uses the entire 2.4 GHz band, making the mobile identification device band unavoidable. The FH-SS method is used as the modulation method. The interference distance is 80m.
    • Wireless products are specified for use in Japan only and cannot be used outside of Japan.
    • Please keep it at least 22 cm away from pacemakers. Radio waves may affect pacemaker operation.
    • It is very important to set the security for wireless LAN.
    • Operation of all wireless devices is not guaranteed.

  • Copyrights

    • Copyrights such as music and images are protected by copyright law. Recording and duplication of music (including data format conversion) can be done only to enjoy it personally or at home. Permission from the copyright holder is required in cases such as distributing music or images over a network other than the above purposes.

  • Facial recognition notes

    • Depending on where you are, such as near a window exposed to direct sunlight, the facial recognition feature may not register correctly.
    • Facial recognition technology does not guarantee complete identity verification. Please be aware that we are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or failure to use this product.

  • For your safety

    • Please read the For Your Safety section in the manual carefully before use. Do not place the product in a location where there is a lot of water, moisture, dust, oily smoke, or corrosive gas (for example, sulfur gas from hot springs) as it may cause fire, malfunction or electrical shock.Please use the correct power and voltage displayed.
